Qualifications: BA, LLB (University of Cape Town), B.Com (Hons) in Tax, Certificate in International Tax (University of Stellenbosch), Certificate in Basics of Financial Management (University of Cape Town), Internationally Accredited Mediator (London School of Mediation)
Specialisation and Interests: In 1998, Mandy articled at Prisman Wilson Choritz & Getz, focusing on general litigation. In 2000, she was appointed as an associate at Mallinicks where she worked predominantly in insolvencies. In 2001, she joined Maurice Philips Wisenberg where she was made partner in 2005. During this time, Mandy established a flourishing litigation practice and, in particular, a well-established matrimonial and private client practice.
Since 2007 Mandy has practised predominantly in divorce, child and family law, however, she also has an interest in tax law, particularly tax implications in divorce settlements for high net wealth individuals. As such, Mandy is a registered tax practitioner.
Mandy is an internationally accredited mediator and accepts briefs for both commercial and family law matters. Mandy is a long-standing fellow of the International Association of Family Lawyers and is frequently consulted on international matters.
Mandy’s clients include artists, celebrities, sports people and high net worth individuals.
